About Me

Software Engineering Undergraduate | Full-Stack, Mobile & Cloud Developer

I am P.H. Pramodya Lakmuthu, a passionate Software Engineering undergraduate based in Ambalangoda, Sri Lanka, currently studying at Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT). I am in my second year of the BEng (Hons) Software Engineering degree, awarded by the University of Westminster, London, where I am building a strong foundation in modern software development, cloud computing, and emerging technologies.

I have a deep interest in full-stack web development, mobile app development, machine learning, and cloud engineering. I enjoy transforming ideas into real, working digital solutions using technologies such as React, Next.js, Flutter, Node.js, Firebase, MongoDB, Python, and AWS. Whether it is designing user interfaces, writing backend logic, or deploying applications to the cloud, I am always eager to learn, experiment, and improve my skills.

Before entering university, I studied at G/Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda, where I developed strong discipline, leadership, and teamwork skills as a proud member of the National Cadet Corps of Sri Lanka (2011–2016). This experience helped shape my work ethic, responsibility, and ability to perform well under pressure — qualities that I now bring into my software engineering journey.

I am also an active member of the IEEE Computer Society at the IIT Student Branch, where I engage with the tech community, learn about new trends in the IT industry, and participate in knowledge-sharing activities that strengthen my technical and professional growth.

Although I do not yet have formal industry experience, I am highly motivated, self-driven, and constantly building projects to sharpen my real-world development skills. I am currently seeking an internship opportunity where I can apply my knowledge, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to a team by developing high-quality software solutions.

My goal is to become a skilled software engineer specializing in machine learning and cloud technologies, creating applications that are not only functional but also scalable, secure, and impactful. I believe in continuous learning, clean code, and building products that solve real problems.
